Australian Summit Against Sexual Exploitation

ASASE.jpg

Register now for the first Australian Summit Against Sexual Exploitation where, together, we will expose the seamless connection between sexual exploitation and pornography, objectification in advertising, sex trafficking and prostitution, and child sexual exploitation.

Our speakers will comprehensively address these issues over two days as we move forward together to a world without sexual exploitation.

The Summit begins on Friday night from 6:30pm to 9:30pm and continues on Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

We will be hearing from a number of leading voices in this area including Dr Caroline Norma; author and academic from RMIT University, Melbourne, Melinda Tankard Reist of Collective Shout, Toowoomba City Council Mayor Paul Antonio and Hetty Johnston AM of Bravehearts.

Melinda Tankard Reist will be presenting on how pornography is contributing to violence against women.

Tickets are limited so please register early to ensure your place.

You can defend their right to childhood

Everyday our young people are exposed to more brands continuing to sexualise girls and objectify women. You can bring change to this sexploitation, stop companies from degrading women and prevent its devastating effects on young people.
