A number of weeks ago we campaigned against a three panelled advertising trailer advertising Dollhouse Showgirls strip club. The trailer, featuring a completely naked woman, was regularly parked in a suburban street just 500m from a local primary school.
As a result of our campaign, Queensland Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) directed the Brisbane strip club to keep the trailer off the street. We haven't seen it since!
But this win goes further than that - because of the number of complaints received (thank you!) the regulator is now reviewing ALL adult entertainment advertising ACROSS THE STATE.
OLGR is interested in learning about your experience with adult advertising in Qld. Please let them know what you've seen and where at any time and the impact this has had on you or your children. Photos are especially helpful.
We are very pleased that OLGR is taking this seriously. Please use this unique opportunity to make your voice heard.
