Let's Talk Porn is a community event aimed at bringing awareness about the effects of porn in our communities. It encompasses two informational sessions with Q&A opportunity for you to learn and engage in conversation with like minded individuals.
Two well renowned international leaders in this field, Melinda Tankard Reist and Letitia Shelton. Melinda will talk about the detrimental effects pornography is having on school aged children, its connection with violence against women and the impact pornography is having in our society.
Letitia who pioneered Toowoomba’s “A City Free From Porn” campaign, will share the strategies and tools that have led to the campaign’s success and the positive impacts it is having in the community. Her talk will inspire people and show them how they can get involved and pro-actively do something about this issue.
