Let’s stand for girls

Sexually objectifying portrayals of women are harmful – especially to young girls.
That’s why I’m so thankful that thousands have already signed the petition to change Australian advertising standards.
If you’d like to go a step further with your support, we’re asking for any donation you can give to help meet a $50,000 goal by International Day of the Girl Child on 11 October.

Your generosity will help us continue campaigning against the objectification of women and the sexualisation of girls in media, advertising and popular culture.

We’ve shared the link on our platforms – stopping the objectification of women in advertising, media and pop culture is such an important issue. More awareness needs to be raised about the harmful effects of objectification to young girls. At http://sheismorethanblog.wordpress.com/ we are aiming to help raise awareness about the effects sexual objectification in the film industry has upon young women – it’s such an important issue with not enough recognition. Keep on standing up for women x

You can defend their right to childhood

Everyday our young people are exposed to more brands continuing to sexualise girls and objectify women. You can bring change to this sexploitation, stop companies from degrading women and prevent its devastating effects on young people.
