Pornhub exposed hosting toddler abuse videos

After almost half a million people have signed a petition to shut down Pornhub over cases of sex trafficking, rape and child sexual abuse, new reports of the porn site hosting videos of a toddler being abused have emerged.

Rose Kalemba, who had previously exposed Pornhub for hosting footage of her rape as a fourteen-year-old followed by a period of six months where she begged the site to remove the videos, has appealed to Pornhub again to remove videos documenting the abuse of her friend, who was a toddler at the time.

While the videos have now been removed, Rose pointed out they had remained for hours despite being flagged, and received over six hundred views. Rose also asked for the accounts uploading the child abuse videos to be deleted, but they remain active.

“So what will stop this person from putting these videos back up again? Why should my friend have to live with this fear every day of her life? What does it cost Pornhub to delete these accounts? Why are they unwilling to do so?” she wrote on Twitter.

“...if I’m a cocoa bean farmer and I found out a bunch of children are being abused under my business- I would shut it down. CHOCOLATE IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT. Much like chocolate, a lot of people might enjoy porn but it is not a human right or something anyone is entitled to, especially at the expense of victims. The dignity and safety of human beings, especially children, is a human right that must be protected at all costs.”
