Collective Shout is backing a Change.org petition launched today by Melbourne fashion designer, singer-songwriter and mother of five Anna Cordell, calling on the Board of Directors of global marketplace Etsy to block sellers of incest and child abuse-themed merchandise.

“I came across an advertisement on Child Sex Dolls while looking at Japanese news online. Who would think such a heinous insult to the sanctity of children would exist?”

We were recently alerted to a petition started by students from a Melbourne girls school. The petition calls for Klara Cosmetics to pull its "just kiss me don't ask" ads which also includes the phrase "Be passionate and leave no evidence." 

It has been reported that the Australian Government has denied a visa to millionaire boxer and convicted domestic violence offender Floyd Mayweather. A petition started by Angela Burrows, a crisis worker with a domestic violence service and Collective Shout's Townsville representative had amassed over 46,000 signatures when the announcement was made today.
