Taylor Swift had a major victory recently, and her victory was also a triumph for survivors of sexual harassment everywhere. Pop star Taylor Swift was awarded $1USD ($1.30AUD) in damages after successfully counter-suing a former radio DJ who assaulted her four years ago.

David Mueller, a former employee of Colorado radio station KYGO, took a photograph with the pop star during a meet and greet in 2013. As the pair posed for a photo, Mueller placed his hand underneath the back of Swift's skirt and grabbed her bare bottom. As shown below, that photo showed Swift forcing a smile and sidled up to Mueller's girlfriend, trying to edge away from him, his hand visibly well below her waist.
