Too Much Too Young - Brisbane QLD

Children are growing up so quickly. Before they even finish primary school, they’re already stressing about their appearance and thinking about their sexuality. As these young lives are bombarded with hypersexualised images and the pornification of everything around them, they face increasing pressure to act out and put their bodies on display for attention and judgement.
What is the best way to address this toxic part of our culture? How can we raise healthy, resilient young people who will aspire to authentic relationships because they understand their self-worth and value their human dignity?
Join CS Cofounder, prominent author, media commentator and advocate Melinda Tankard Reist as she addresses these issues on 26 March, drawing from current global trends as well as the experiences of young people in Australia.

You can defend their right to childhood

Everyday our young people are exposed to more brands continuing to sexualise girls and objectify women. You can bring change to this sexploitation, stop companies from degrading women and prevent its devastating effects on young people.
