The heartbreaking realities of dealing with sexist treatment every day
I’ve been documenting the experiences of girls everywhere I travel. I write down what they tell me and increasingly, with their permission, I’m recording their experiences. The stories they tell me are harrowing, heartbreaking – and getting worse younger.
Bella, Sienna and Ruby are only 14. Listen to what they have endured and continue to endure, at the hands of boys whose sexual templates are being shaped by pornography. They have been so terribly harmed. But you will see that by the end of the interview, they declare that they will stand up for themselves and not put up with bad behaviour from now on. As you can imagine, this response makes it all worthwhile!
