Tyler the Creator denied entry to UK

“Coming to the UK is a privilege, and we expect those who come here to respect our shared values." - UK Home Office

As reported by The Guardian:

guardianlogo.jpgThe US rapper Tyler, the Creator says he has been banned from the UK because of the nature of his lyrics. Collective Shout had appealed to Australian Immigration Minister Peter Dutton to deny Tyler a visa on the basis that "the content of the product he sells propagates discriminatory ideas about women and other groups, and represents a danger to a segment of the Australian community on the potential basis of incitement to acts of hatred."

It wasn't only the misogynistic lyrical content of his songs, but his history of inciting violence towards women who challenge him, including Collective Shout activists.

Thanks for stabbing the art of expression. Thanks for making this country more of a nanny state. Thanks for your political stance, you seem to get the best out of yourselves again. Thanks for not seeing the beauty behind the madness, you seem to struggle to understand perspective. Thanks for failing to comprehend that an artists message can be delivered electronically, you seem to think that touring a country would infer more damage.

Most of all, thanks for being feminist because you seem to fail what being a hypocrite means.
