Hagar NZ has organised for Collective Shout's Melinda Tankard Reist to speak at an event in Auckland, New Zealand on Saturday 8, July 2017. Melinda will be discussing why she became an activist and her journey to confront the sexualisation of girls in our culture, the prevalence and accessibility of violent pornography, and the objectification of women in media.
Melinda is also an Ambassador for Hagar and has a longtime personal connection to Hagar's work with women and children survivors of extreme human rights abuse, such as human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
