Bubba Pizza withdraws sexist pizza boxes

"Bubba Pizza has made the decision to cease the printing of pizza boxes with the term ‘ball and chain’ and will be withdrawing these boxes from circulation immediately."

Bubba Pizza posted the following comment on our Facebook post:

Dear Members of the Collective Shout Community,

Bubba Pizza has made the decision to cease the printing of pizza boxes with the term ‘ball and chain’ and will be withdrawing these boxes from circulation immediately.

Bubba Pizza in no way, shape or form condones misogyny, domestic violence or bigotry of any kind, and regrets that this slogan has been interpreted in this way. We apologise for causing offence.

We pride ourselves on our family and community values and bringing people together to enjoy great pizza.

Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this to our attention.
