[UPDATED] Pornhub uses civil rights org donation pledge to self-promote
There is no end to the lengths the porn industry will go to legitimise its exploitative practises. We've written about this before. It's no surprise to us then, to see that Pornhub has now seized upon the death of George Floyd and the subsequent protests and civil unrest in the US to promote its stockpile of pornography and, in many cases, evidence of crimes committed against women and girls.
A tweet sent by Pornhub on the 31st of May states: "Pornhub stands in solidarity against racism and social injustice."
A follow up tweet pledged $100,000 towards "organisations actively fighting for equality."
Standing against racism and social injustice is a worthy cause. But Pornhub not only contributes to these problems, it eroticises and reinforces them. Pornhub profits from racism and social injustice.
This 'solidarity,' this 'pledge' is nothing more than an opportunistic PR stunt for Pornhub to create an ethical, progressive veneer for what is in reality, a bottomless pit of hate propaganda and eroticised inequality, injustice and violence.
Don't let them get away with it. Pornhub is a hate group and in this article, we show you why. Please share it widely.

Shut down Pornhub
In response to the growing movement against their website, Pornhub made the stunning accusation that their opponents are part of a "hate group."
This can only be because the petition launched by Laila Mickelwait of Exodus Cry - Shut down Pornhub and hold it's executives accountable for aiding trafficking - has over 800,000 signatures and continues to grow daily.
Activists have shone a spotlight on the various ways Pornhub has violated women's and children's rights. You can read more about that here.
Collective Shout has been investigating Pornhub for a number of years. We've found videos containing simulated and/or real footage of sexual assaults, non-consensual footage such as girls being assaulted while unconscious or drunk and hidden camera footage of women and girls showering, getting dressed or having sex. We have even found child sexual exploitation material.
Now we have uncovered the racist and anti-semitic films hosted on Pornhub. Pornhub is a bottomless pit of hate propaganda. They are in no position to accuse anyone else of being a "hate group."
These videos have headlines that use antisemitic and racist slurs. Thumbnail images include swastikas and men and women wearing nazi uniforms. Some videos are clips from vintage nazisploitation films, a subgenre of exploitation and sexploitation film that involves Nazis committing sex crimes, often as camp or prison overseers during World War II. Others are more recent films and tagged with 'nazi' or 'nazi fetish.'
We recently shared a series of tweets focussed on the racist and antisemitic content Pornhub hosts, distributes and profits from. We included images in these tweets as evidence. While we blurred or completely concealed parts of these images, they are still confronting.
We have published these tweets on a separate page for those who wish to view them. The images we have published are just the tip of the iceberg.

Last year Rose Kalemba wrote a blog post explaining how hard it had been - when she was raped as a 14-year-old girl - to get a video of the attack removed from a popular porn website. Dozens of people then contacted her to say that they were facing the same problem today. Read: BBC News - ‘I was raped at 14, and the video ended up on a porn site’
